As you’ll know, iTunes 7 automatically digs out album art from the iTunes Store for your library. But even though the Store has millions of songs, there’s bound to be some that it doesn’t have. And that’s where you come in, as it’s very simple to add the missing art yourself. Firstly you need to find the artwork, and the chances are that any missing sleeves can be found through Amazon. Go to the store, find the album you need and then make sure that you save out the enlarged album art – rather than the much smaller thumbnail image that first appears when you go to the album’s shop page. Then go back to iTunes, select the tracks you want to add the art to, click on Apple + I (Mac) or Control + I (PC) and then simply drag and drop the sleeve into the Artwork box. |
