How do I get WMA files on my Mac version of iTunes?

With great difficulty, unfortunately. Apple isn’t a huge fan of the WMA format and isn’t overly keen on encouraging you to put the files on your Mac, so technically it’s impossible to get a WMA file onto your Mac iTunes. As ever though, there’s a clever person on the Internet who’s come up with a simple solution. In this case, that clever person is Patrice Bensoussan, and the solution he’s created is called EasyWMA. This ingenious piece of shareware will convert WMA and ASF audio files to AIFF, MP3 or WAV ones, which can then be dropped quite happily into iTunes.
