I’ve messed up the default language on my iPod – how do I get it back?

You’d be surprised how many times this question crops up on the forums. One way to solve this problem is to learn the language that the iPod is now displaying. That way, after a year or two, you might know enough of the basics to work your way around the iPod’s menu system. Alternatively, you could just follow these very simple instructions… 1. Keep pressing the Menu button until you’re back at the Main menu. 2. Select the fourth option down the list – which is Settings. 3. Pick the last item on the menu – which is Reset All Settings. 4. Choose the second item on the menu (which is Reset) and then pick a new language.
