The company has released sales information for their third financial quarter (July to September) and, as expected, it’s good news all round…
iPhone It was good news for the iPhone, as they sold around 1.119 million of them in the quarter – and 1.4 million since its launch. Apple say that they’re on track to sell their target of 10 million iPhones by the end of 2008.
iPod It was another good quarter for iPod sales. Apple sold over 10.2 million units of the MP3 player during the three months, meaning that they’ve now flogged an astonishing 120 million of them since launch. And there are now over 40,000 iPod distribution points worldwide.
