iPod touch video ‘not perfect’

Various reports are coming in that seem to suggest that the quality of the video playback on the iPod touch isn’t as good as we might hope it to be.
Maybe it’s just splitting hairs or maybe there’s a genuine problem here, but various websites in the iPod online community are reporting that some touch users are disappointed with the video playback quality on their new iPods. And, having seen various side-by-side comparison shots with it and the iPhone, it’s clear that the colour reproduction is inferior on the touch.
