Delays activating iPhone reported

A small percentage of iPhone users have had lengthy delays when trying to activate their phones through iTunes and AT&T.
It’s reported that around two per cent of new iPhone users have had delays of between 10-40 hours while trying to use the online registration and activation that is part of iTunes 7.3.
In a statement, AT&T claim that most of the delays are purely down to the overwhelming amount of iPhones being activated simultaneously.
