New plug-in aimed at iPods

Software company JoeSoft has released a feature-packed plug-in for iTunes that offers a range of enhancements for both the software and also your iPod, too.
The program, called Jax, will find lyrics for iTunes (that will then sync across to your iPod when you next connect it), YouTube videos (5G iPod only) and RSS newsfeeds.
More interestingly though, JoeSoft are planning to release tools for the software that will allow developers to create their own Jax ‘widgets’.
Sadly though, this isn’t a free application. Jax is for Macs and will set you back £34.95, but if a decent enough library of Widgets is made available, then it may be worth the expense.
