Timberlake digital debut becomes best-seller
James Oakwood

The decision to debut the video for Justin Timberlake’s new single, What Goes Around… Comes Around, on iTunes clearly paid off, as they sold 50,000 in just four days.
Timberlake is the first major artist to debut a video on the iTunes Store, and judging from the sales figures and amount of publicity it’s received, it’s clearly a gamble that’s paid off. The video was added exclusively to the iTunes Store on 9 February and has continued to sell strongly, even after it started to appear elsewhere.
The extended video is over nine minutes long and features a fine acting performance from Timberlake himself alongside Scarlett Johannson.
