Five colour shuffle

Apple extended the iPod shuffle range yesterday, adding four new colours (blue, pink, green and orange) to the original silver shuffle.
“iPod shuffle is the world’s most wearable digital music player,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Vice-President of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing. “Music fans can now choose iPod shuffle in one of five brilliant colours, or they can buy one of each.”
Of course, Apple would be delighted if you did buy one of each, but if we were to choose ourselves (as I’m sure we will in the very near future), we’d have to admit that the orange one looks particularly stunning.
Although there are no actual hardware enhancements to the new shuffles, they do come packaged with the latest design of Apple’s earbud headphones. To make sure that you pick up a silver shuffle with the new headphones, look for black lettering on the packaging, as opposed to the old-style green lettering.
The new shuffles are available now in stores around the world and retail for the same price of £55 in the UK and $79 in the US.
