iPod Touch available in-store now…

…although that is only in selected Apple stores and not outside of the US. The iPod Touch will ship on 28th September and will hit Europe shortly afterwards.
The iPod Touch has been spotted in several Apple Stores around the US, with many having hands-on units to stroke and caress – just try not to dribble on it.
Predictably, the units are flying out of the stores as quickly as they come in, but us Europeans still have a little wait to go yet, as Apple have announced that they won’t be shipping units outside of the US until 28th September – meaning that you won’t realistically see them in-store until a week or so after that.
The iLounge website has post a series of ‘unboxing’ shots on Flickr, so if you’re desperate to see exactly how minimal the packaging for the iPod Touch is, then you’re welcome to go and view them all here.
