iPhone-inspired Nokia mobile phone appears

At a recent Nokia event, the Finnish company revealed their plans for a new phone with a touchscreen interface, and it’s easy to see where their inspiration came from.
A short video on the Engadget website shows someone viewing a photo library on the phone and using their finger to swipe along the photo to show another one. Then, when the phone is rotated from a landscape to a portrait view, the image automatically flips through 90 degrees – much like another phone we could mention.
When asked about the mobile’s similarity to the iPhone during a Q&A session, Nokia’s Executive VP & General Manager of Multimedia, Anssi Vanjoki, simply said “If there is something good in the world then we copy it with pride.”
