Apple HiFi about to be replaced?
Dean Mortlock
0 comments 30 August 2007
After moderately poor sales, several reports are appearing online that suggest that Apple may well be considering replacing its iPod Hi-Fi system.
Although few would argue about the sound quality of the music player, many consumers were put off by its size and high price tag when compared with smaller sound systems of a similar quality.
What’s unclear though is whether Apple will replace the Hi-Fi with something more suitable or just scrap the speaker system altogether.
If there is some fact to be found behind these rumours though, then Apple may well use next week’s special event to announce something.
