Special event announced for 5 September

As expected, Apple have announced that there will be a ‘Special Event’ on the 5 September, and judging from the invitation, it’s likely to be iPod-themed.
The invitation, which went out to selected press in the US yesterday, features a Coverflow theme, a silhouetted figure holding an iPod and the single phrase: ‘The beat goes on’.
The event will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and it’s widely believed that Apple will use it to reveal updates to the nano and 5G iPod range.
