Video content comes to Europe

Ahead of the rumoured 5 September release date, Apple added a range of TV shows to the European iTunes Store yesterday. Read on for the full list…
As expected, the list doesn’t feature any content from the five major UK TV stations, but rather US imports from studios such as ABC, Nickelodeon, MTV and the Disney Channel.
Each show will cost £1.89 (compared to $1.99 in the US), but savings can be made by purchasing an entire season.
Video quality is good rather than great. We downloaded an episode of That 70’s Show which lasted 23 minutes long and the file size was just under 260Mb. It was sharp enough playing through an iPod, but wasn’t quite so good when playing on a full-screen monitor.
Here’s the full list of titles…
ABC Lost (season 3) Ugly Betty (season 1) Desperate Housewives (season 3) Night Stalker (season 1) Commander In Chief (season 1) Grey’s Anatomy (season 2)
Disney The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody That’s So Raven Kim Possible American Dragon
Nickelodeon Avatar Drake & Josh Dora The Explorer SpongeBob SquarePants Genie In The House
MTV Barrio 19 My Super Sweet Sixteen Bam’s Unholy Union Pimp My Ride Laguna Beach
Paramount Comedy South Park (season 10) Comedy Blue That 70’s Show (season 1) Jongleurs Unleashed The World Stands Up
Playhouse Disney Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Little Einsteins Handy Manny
