iPhone European deals signed?

It would appear that Apple has finally struck deals with the various European mobile phone operators and that an iPhone rollout could happen as soon as next month.
According to the Financial Times, T-Mobile will handle the iPhone in Germany, Orange will carry it in France and O2 (despite a last-minute bid from Vodafone) have it for the UK. The paper goes on to report that the deals will be announced at the IFA trade fair in Berlin at the end of August.
The terms of the deal mean that Apple will receive 10 per cent of the revenue generated from both phone calls and data transfers.
Other European regions, as well as Asia, will get the iPhone some time in the first half of 2008.
In other iPhone news, Apple’s shares jumped up by over $3 on the strength on the European carrier stories and predictions that Apple has had better iPhone sales than it originally predicted.
Apple forecasted iPhone sales of 730,000 for the quarter, but analysts claim that actual sales figures could be as high as 800,000.
