Apple release The Sims Pool

Electronic Arts added the second of their four planned iPod games to the iTunes Store yesterday, and it’s another Sims-themed gem.
The Sims Pool appeared on the iTunes Store yesterday, offering three game modes (9-ball, 8-ball and trick shot) and the ability to create your own Sims character.
Much like their last release, The Sims Bowling, you start off at your home, which acts as the main menu screen. Here you can choose your options or simply jump straight into a game.
The Sims Pool is available now at selected iTunes Stores worldwide and costs £3.99 ($5).
First play We downloaded the game in the early hours of the morning and are pleased to report that it’s another gem from EA. The smooth gameplay and intuitive controls work perfectly on the iPod and the computer-controlled opponents play with skill and a perfect degree of logic.
We’ll post up a full review soon, but can happily report that The Sims Pool is another well-targeted game for the iPod and well worth downloading.
