Two more Apple patents reveal unique iPod functionality

New patents seem to be appearing from out of Cupertino on a daily basis, and here are two more that drop large hints about new features planned for future iPods.
Lyrics Could it be that Apple is planning to offer a dynamic new way to feature song lyrics in the future? A patent published on Thursday would seem to suggest that it is.
Quoting from the patent, Apple said: "The text being displayed is associated with and synchronized to the media content being presented. In one implementation, the dynamic nature of the text can scroll across the display screen of the portable media device,”
This means that, technically, you could be listening to music on your iPod while the lyrics for it scroll along the screen. The patent also indicates that the user will be able to customise the flowing copy with different colours, flashing text, etc.
Streaming iTunes The second new patent seems to indicate that Apple may be thinking about implementing a WiFi function in a new iPod to stream music and video from iTunes – or, for that matter, even Apple TV.
The implications of this patent also suggest that the iPod could be used to control a ‘media server’, so not only could you stream YouTube videos from Apple TV or iTunes (assuming that the function was integrated into iTunes) but you’d also be able to use your iPod to remotely control iTunes or Apple TV themselves.
