Free Single Of The Week: Air Traffic
Dean Mortlock
0 comments 04 July 2007
Despite their rather dull name, big things are expected from this young band from Bournemouth. And, to top it off, they’re this week’s free single of the week.
iTunes says “Bournemouth’s Air Traffic is a quartet that makes touching pop songs often driven by piano, but the band does not flinch when it comes to riding this quiet tendency until it becomes something more explosive.”
We say Well, it all sounds a bit like the bastard child of Keane and Radiohead. And if that floats your boat then you’ll love it. Us? We’re currently wary of any band that overuses a piano, so we’ll pass on this one, thanks.
