Huge Demand For iPhone In UK

New research indicates that up to seven million people in the UK intend to buy Apple’s iPhone.
According to research group M-Metrics some 56 percent of the UK population is already aware of the device, despite that the fact that it’s not set to arrive in the UK until later this year.
"We expected that mobile users in the UK would be more inclined to buy an expensive device, since smartphones are twice as popular in the UK as in the US,” says M: Metrics analyst Paul Goode. “These figures are very impressive, although respondents in the UK were not presented with a launch price or any restriction of mobile phone carrier as in the US."
