Omelette cracks onto the Apple TV
James Oakwood
0 comments 11 May 2007
Omelette, a game developed for Apple TV, has the honour of being the first game to be released for the media streaming box, and it’s completely free, too.
Seemingly based on the iPod and mobile phone game Bejeweled, the object of the game is to line up three eggs of the same colour, causing them to disappear and be replaced by yet more.
While it’s still early days, and there’s nothing particularly groundbreaking about Omelette, it does offer positive signs that Apple TV can be opened up to the Apple development community, meaning that we should start to see some more interesting games and applications very shortly.
