Microsoft have released a patch for Vista that they claim will stop any further compatibility issues between the software and your iPod.
The worldwide release works with the latest version of iTunes and corrects the bug that caused the iPod to corrupt when it was ejected using Windows Explorer or the ‘Safely Remove Hardware’ function.
The patch is available now and will also be added to the next Windows Update, which is expected on Tuesday, 22 May.
