Friday update: New links

It’s Friday again, so that means we’re celebrating the end of the working week with another update to our links Directory. Here’s what we’ve got for you this week…
Pirates Of The Caribbean At World’s End (Free Videos) Now only a matter of a few weeks away, one of the most exciting movie trilogies we’ve seen for a while comes thundering to its natural conclusion. This fresh trailer on the Apple site is well worth downloading for your iPod.
Russian Literature Maximo Park (Free Music) A new track and a new album from English band Maximo Park. Love ’em or hate ’em, it’s becoming increasingly hard to ignore them. We tend to fall on the love side, but more of a friendly love than a full-on sordid affair.
iPod microphone (Mod Pod) This ingenious mod allows you to use the iPod’s headphones as a microphone. Apparently the audio quality isn’t brilliant, and we haven’t tried it ourselves, but it might be worth a try if you’re looking for a free dictaphone.
Charlotte Gainsbourg (New Music) A rather melancholic entry this week, as we bring you The Songs That We Sing from the Gallic beauty, Charlotte Gainsbourg, but that’s the kind of song we feel like listening to today. If you’re in a similar ‘okay, but rather thoughtful mood’, then you may well like it too.
Fade To Pretty Vacant The Sex Pistols/Visage (Mash ups) It takes real vision to realise that if you slow down the guitar riff from The Sex Pistols’ Pretty Vacant and then splice it with the classic New Romantic (like Emo, but softer and for old people) anthem Fade To Grey it’ll sound like audio perfection.
iPod Access Photo (Shareware) If you have a need to move images from your iPod to a computer, then this might well be the program to help you, as it’ll convert photos from the iPod’s ‘ithmb’ format to one that will allow you to view them on regular photo programs.
