The new Free Single of the Week from iTunes is a wonderful slice of summery pop, from an up-and-coming American band that are tipped for the Next Big Thing.
It’s Getting Old from Goldspot is taken from their debut album, Tally Of The Yes Men, and highlights the quality of the rest of the album’s tracks perfectly.
Hard to categorise, the band claim that their sound is like if you ‘imagine Paul Simon heading to Mumbai to record his next album and listening to The Cure on the flight’. And while that description shouldn’t work, somehow it does.
