Create the ultimate space age playlist and your song selections could be played 400km above the Earth in the International Space Station.
ESA, the company that supplies vehicles for the International Space Station, has ‘launched’ a competition to find the ultimate playlist to keep the astronauts amused.
To stand a chance of winning, you have to create a 10-track playlist that’s guaranteed to be ‘out of this world’, featuring songs to cheer up lonely spacemen and women and inspire them to do whatever it is that space men and women do. Once a winner has been announced, the songs will be put onto an iPod and sent up to the space station.
The winner will have the opportunity to go to South America to see the launch of the transporter that will take your songs up to the astronauts, as well as the supreme satisfaction of knowing that your song choices are being played in outer space.
