Classic rock comes to iTunes
James Oakwood
1 comment 05 April 2007
There are 26 classic rock albums now for sale on the iTunes Store and each one is guaranteed to be less than £6. This limited edition sale runs out on 1 May.
The cynical might call it the virtual equivilent of Apple having a garage sale and clearing out the old ‘classics’ to make way for the new stuff, but it’s fair to say that there are a few gems hidden away behind the likes of Keeper Of The Seven Keys by Helloween.
Listed alphabetically, each letter has a corresponding album, so you get School’s Out by Alice Cooper at the start, Queensryche somewhere in the middle and, unsurprisingly, Eliminator by ZZ Top at the end.
Here’s our top five that any self-respecting music fan should own. Disagree? Let us know in the comments below…
Are You Experienced Jimi Hendrix Experience
New York Lou Reed
Ramones The Ramones
1999 Prince
Who’s Next The Who
