iPhone gets glowing appraisal from EMI chief
James Oakwood
0 comments 29 March 2007
In a recent speech, the CEO of EMI, Eric Nicoli, praised the iPhone and criticised mobile phone manufacturers for not delivering products of a similar quality.
In a comment from the speech, Nicoli said: “Apple makes stuff that people love to own. They love the simplicity and user-friendliness of the iPod and iTunes. Apple doesn't employ any sorcery or dark magic to achieve this. It listens to what consumers want, and that shouldn't be Apple's unique privilege."
EMI are an English record company and one of the ‘Big Four’ in the world, along with Warner, Universal and Sony BMG.
