Overpriced workout tutorials for colour-screen iPods, company releases impressive Widget-style iPod applications and Mogopop add a detailed wine guide to its directory.
Pump and grind Those looking for help and advice planning a training regime might want to consider a new scheme from American company, PumpOne. The downloadable packs contain a slideshow of images and take you through topics with delightful names such as ‘Pumped For Life’ and ‘Pump 2 Go’. They are horrifically expensive though, with packs costing around $19. Alternatively, you could always check out iPod Gym, which contains 80 video training exercises for free.
Koloroo release Widget-style apps for iPod Another company that’s found an alternative use for the iPod’s photo display ability is Koloroo, as they’ve recently released two packs that will run on any iPod with a colour screen. KolorWheel lets you skip through a rainbow of colours to find ones that match (ideal for home décor, etc.), while TipKalc allows you to instantly work out the split and amount you need to tip for any bill. Both packs are available in the US and cost $4.99 for TipKalc and $7.99 for KolorWheel.
Wine guide free on Mogopop The highly regarded wine website, Wine Spectator, has released a digital guide to their 100 best wines of 2006, which is available here on Mogopop. For those yet to experience it, Mogopop is a free-to-use website that offers unique media-rich downloads, which can then be transferred to a 5G iPod.
