Celebrities auction iPods for Comic Relief
James Oakwood
0 comments 20 March 2007
The cream of the celebrity world are doing their bit for Comic Relief by auctioning their time or possessions on eBay – and included in the list are a couple of iPods…
Red Nose Day may well have finished, but the Comic Relief campaign continues regardless, as you’ll find plenty of star-related items currently on the UK version of eBay. Among them are the chance to meet the Sugababes, a meal with Gordon Ramsey, a chance to spend the day as a VIP at a grand prix and a couple of iPods, too.
David Walliams (one half of Little Britain) has donated a 4GB nano, with a playlist that includes Madonna, ABBA and The Smiths, while Rik Mayall’s comes from his fiendish alter ego, Alan B’Stard.
You’ll need to be quick if you fancy placing a bid, though. Both have only a few days left (as of Tuesday morning) and are currently valued at over £200.
One hundred per cent of the proceeds from the sales of all the items on eBay will go directly to Comic Relief.
