Mickey heads to iPod, Clever Person releases yet another useful free software app for iTunes and Macs and Yellowstone National Park enters the digital age…
Limited edition iPod released in Japan Disney have teamed up with Apple to release a unique Mickey Mouse-themed iPod nano in Japan. The limited edition pack (only 500 have been made) includes an engraved iPod, a case, strap and other assorted goodies. Unfortunately everyone in the iPod Collective office skipped GSCE Japanese, so we don’t know exactly what’s included with the pack, but those of an inquisitive nature can find out more here.
Useful new utility for iTunes Greg Weston always thought it would be a good idea to replace the iTunes icon in the Dock with the album art of the track that’s currently playing, but rather than just moan about his Mac’s lack of such a feature, he created a piece of software to do just that. And, best of all, you can download it for free here.
Park Podcasts Yellowstone National Park is joining the digital revolution, with a series of over 30 video podcasts that you can download and view before planning a trip there or even as guides for when you’re there. They can be viewed online (or downloaded) here. [Story via USA Today]
