Should iPods carry health warnings? More rumours of new iPods coming soon; Steve Jobs spotted using an iPhone and a feature on getting the most from iTunes’ EQ…

Warning: MP3 players can damage your health
Should iPods and another MP3 players carry health warnings? John Currie, a boss of a tinnitus treatment company, says they should. In a survey carried out by his company, he claims that noise induced hearing loss caused tinnitus in over 90% of his clients. "Initially most of our clientele were older and middle aged people such as the 'Baby Boomer' generation, but these days we are increasingly finding our clients to be of a much younger generation," commented Currie.

iPod rumour mill goes into overdrive
Websites across the world are claiming that Apple are about to update their entire range, from laptops down to iPods. Apparently stock levels are falling and aren’t being updated, which can be caused by several things, one of which is the impending announcement of new products. While iPlay Collective would love to see new iPods as much as the next person, we suspect that we won’t see anything for a few months yet.

Jobs already using iPhone?
This is a great one. Apparently, the iPhone is up and running and Steve Jobs was recently spotted a sports event using one. Someone at the event saw Jobs, realised what it was and took a photo – which is now on the Flickr site. Unfortunately though, it’s impossible to tell what’s going on, but the snapper does claim that it’s definitely Jobs and he was definitely operating an iPhone. Check out the photo for yourself here and see what you think.

Getting the most from iTunes’ EQ settings
We often find interesting things on our frequent travels around the Internet, and yesterday was no exception. On the website MethodShop.com you’ll find an informative feature on the best way to set up your iTunes Equalizer settings, which has been written by the Senior Editor of Surround Professional Magazine and is well worth a read. Click here to read it for yourself.
