There’s plenty going on in the iPhone world at the moment, and here’s a round-up of some of the best iPhone stories currently circulating the Internet…
Oscars iPhone ad
Apple cleverly used the enormous movie-loving audience of the Oscars ceremony to release a 30-second iPhone trailer ad on US television. The ad, featuring a series of famous actors answering the phone, can be downloaded from here.
Hidden iPhone details
The iPhone obsessives at Actioncorp.net have picked through the whole of the MacWorld Keynote speech from Steve Jobs and found a few things about the iPhone that weren’t revealed at the time. Check out this iPod-friendly video for yourself here and see what you think.
iPhone going 3G?
AppleInsider claim that Apple could be opening up the iPod to the 3G (third-generation) phone network early in 2008. For the full story, go here.
iPhone price too high?
A survey reported on the MacWorld website claims that a US surveys reveals that only 1 per cent of American consumers would be willing to pay $500 for an iPhone. As surveys go though, it’s hardly the most accurate barometer of public opinion, as they only surveyed 379 people. For the full story on the MacWorld site, go here.

That survey is ridiculous. How can you get an accurate sense of what people think by just asking 379 people? I reckon they would have had different results if they'd bothered to ask a couple of thousand.
