Cisco and Apple make peace over iPhone name
James Oakwood

We’re pleased to report that the dispute between Apple and Cisco over the ‘iPhone’ name has finally been resolved, meaning that we can now all sleep soundly at night.
According to the brief press release on the Apple PR site, the agreement allows both companies to use the iPhone name on their individual products.
Also, Apple and Cisco will explore opportunities for interoperability in the areas of security, and consumer and enterprise communications. And your guess is as good as ours as to what that actually means.
