Apple advises PC users to be patient

Apple have announced that an update of iTunes is due at the end of February to deal with conflicts between iTunes and Microsoft’s new operating system, Vista.
PC users upgrading to Vista have found a few compatibility issues with the latest version of iTunes (7.0.2). Reports of songs purchased from the iTunes Store not playing and corrupting files have been commonplace, but Apple is quick to reassure PC owners that it’s working flat-out to solve the problems as quickly as is humanly possible.
According to the announcement released on the Apple website: "iTunes 7.0.2 may work with Windows Vista on many typical PCs. Apple recommends, however, that customers wait to upgrade Windows until after the next release of iTunes which will be available in the next few weeks."
If you’re already installed Vista though, there is still something that you can do that might help. Apple have also released a series of tips that they suggest might remedy some – if not all – of the compatibility problems.
