Choose Your Own Adventure, the best-selling range of interactive audiobooks, is offering a free iPod-formatted title for download until 25 January.
Choose Your Own Adventure #1 – The Abominable Snowman audiobook download will work with all iPods with the Note facility and is an impressive tale surrounding a skilled mountain climber on an expedition in the Himalayas. The iPod format allows the story to be complimented by colour illustrations and even sound effects.
The audiobook is narrated by its author, R.A. Montgomery. Commenting on the book, Montgomery said: “iPod is one of many ways to reach kids. In particular, this is an exciting new way to help reading and decision-making skills.”
