Keynote: Apple announces iPhone

As predicted, Steve Jobs used the Macworld Keynote speech to reveal Apple's latest wonder gadget: the iPhone. And from the cheers from the crowd, few were disappointed.
It has a touchscreen interface (which we initially thought would be for the 6th Generation iPod), 3.5in screen, full syncing for music and videos with iTunes, 8MB of storage, a two megapixel camera and a hi-res screen (160ppi) for widescreen movie viewing.
Importantly, the iPhone is the first mobile to have a fully working HTML browser (Safari obviously), and a digital keyboard can be used for when you want to email.
At present we have no idea of whether or not the iPhone will be available to customers outside of America or even a price point, but don't expect this baby to be cheap.
