Yes you can. For example, if you’ve got a 5G iPod, your sporty partner has a Shuffle and your kids have a nano each, then
they can all use the same iTunes library. Each iPod has its own unique identification code, so iTunes will automatically
recognise which one it is when it’s connected and update its preferences accordingly. Of course, unless you want each iPod
to be synced with the entire iTunes library, you’ll have to set up various playlists for each one. You can obviously change
your iTunes’ preferences so that it’ll sync with the relevant playlist when you connect a different iPod. |
