I have a 30G ipod video player and I have got some small videos that I have put on of my granddaughter. I would like to take these to show friends and have heard that you can play them back on a TV with the right cable. Is this true and if so what sort of cable would I need? |

Hi Piglet. You can buy an expensive lead from any Apple store (or online) that'll do the job, but we've got a link in our Mod Pod section of the Directory that shows you how to save yourself a load of cash.
Head here (http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2005/11/18/video-ipod.html) and follow the instructions. Then, when you've got the lead connected correctly, go to Videos > Video Settings > TV Out and click it to 'On'.
Hope that helps. |

Thank you so much for your help. I have purchased a lead, followed the instructions you gave and low and behold it works a treat. Now I can show off my granddaughter to all my friends and rellies on their own televisions. Great site and keep up the good work. |
