Assuming that the iPhone is likely to cost around £400 when it's released over here at the end of the year, is anyone going to buy it?

Personally, I suspect that Apple will release an iPod version of the design without the phone or Internet and, personally, that sounds far more appealing.

What do you think?

Well I suppose if you want all your gadgets in one place and love the Apple styling then it may be worth it. £400 is a hefty price tag though!

It is a lot of money, but at the same time, it's a lot of machine. When you consider what you get for an iPod that costs £250, then it makes more sense.

I'd prefer (a lot) more memory though, but beggars can't be chosers, eh?
