Four new iPod games coming from Electronic Arts

The title says it all, really. In a recent financial announcement from the company, EA revealed that they would be releasing four new iPod games soon.
They even were so kind as to reveal the title of one of them: Sims Bowling – which can currently be found on mobile phones, but we think it’s safe to presume that the iPod version will be improved and updated.
From what we can tell, the gameplay in Sims Bowling is remarkably straightforward, so should translate perfectly to the iPod’s clickwheel. The Sims angle extends to letting you create a Sim-style character to bowl with, and the game allows you to customise your character’s hair, shirt and bowling style. Again though, we’re hoping that EA will add exclusive features to the iPod version. Screenshots of the mobile version can be found over on the left…
EA currently publish five iPod games (Mahjong, Tetris, Sodoku, Mini Golf and Royal Solitaire) and has been in talks with Apple to produce games for the iPhone.
