More rumours, scandal and gossip, as we once again take a hefty swig from the iPod news cup. Today: birds, release dates, game music and talk of war on the iPhone…
6G iPod unlikely to appear anytime soon Echoing what most of us already believed, sources close to Apple say that we’re unlikely to see a new iPod until much later in the year, and there’s more talk about larger Flash-based iPods. [Story via AppleInsider]

Music from EA Games heads to iTunes Electronic Arts, the largest games company in the world, has recently announced that it’s to start selling the music from its games (past and present) on iTunes. Top tracks to watch out for include a Snoop Dogg remix of Riders On The Storm. The songs are currently only available on the American store, but should be heading to Europe soon.
