Audio books that you’ve purchased (and most podcasts) save your position when you leave them, but if you import audio books into iTunes yourself, then you will need to let it know to bookmark your place for you. Thankfully though, it’s another iTunes feature that’s incredibly simple to use, as long as you know where to look for it. Select the item that you want to bookmark and then press Control + I (PC) or Apple + I (Mac) to bring up the information boxes about that specific track. Click on the Options tab and you’ll see one called ‘Remember playback position’. Make sure this is activated and you’ll be able to pick up where you left off with your chosen book. |
