Yes, but it’s not straightforward to do. For starters you need to download a piece of software that will allow you to record any sound source that’s connected to your computer (Audacity for both PC and Mac will do this perfectly well and it’s also free) and a lead to connect your computer to your stereo. The type of lead you’ll need will depend on your stereo and your computer, but it’s more than likely to be a mini-jack to RCA one. Connect your stereo to your computer, make sure that the Sound options on your computer are set up to accept sound from a line-in connection and then open up the software and start playing the music.
