iPod not Phased

Launched alongside iTunes 7.5, Phase is a new game for the iPod that interacts directly with the software to create levels for it. We wanted to find out more…
Phase, which is available now to buy from the iTunes Store at the usual price (£3.99) is a gaming experience that’s very similar to titles like Guitar Hero on the PlayStation 2 – but without the guitar, obviously.
The object of Phase is to either press or glide the iPod’s clickwheel at the right point to catch the notes as they slide down the screen towards you. The more accurate you are, the higher your score.
Rather than use boring in-game music though, Phase allows you to pick any song from your iTunes library and turn it into one of the game’s levels – although you will need iTunes 7.5 (which has just been released) to do it.
