Developers gather to hack iPhone
James Oakwood

Around 300 iPhone devotees gathered at Adobe’s office in San Francisco for a three-day hacking session to create an online library of iPhone applications.
Due to the relatively closed system of the iPhone, developers are currently unable to produce standalone programmes for the iPhone’s OSX-based operating system, so the event’s developers created web-based applications that could be viewed through the phone’s Safari browser instead.
For a full list of the applications created at the event, go here.
And for a 30-minute long video interview with the event’s organisers, go here.
