Videos coming to Europe next month

We’ve heard that movies will finally be coming to the European iTunes Store sometime in September, but don’t hold your breath for TV shows…
It’s come to our attention that Apple will finally add downloadable video content to the European iTunes Store in September, nearly a year after it first appeared on the US one.
Although movies are a practical certainty, it’s believed that Apple will not be able to include TV shows in the European iTunes Store. This is down to the fact that the majority of the UK TV stations offer downloadable content through their own websites.
It’s expected that Apple will announce the Store upgrade at the same event that they also release new iPod models, which are strongly rumoured to be new nanos and high-end video iPods.
Apple have been running down the stock levels of both the iPod nano and the 5G iPod, which is a strong indication that new models are on the way.
There are strong rumours that Apple are going to hold an event on 5 September in the US, where the new models and features will be revealed. If this is the case then we can expect to see invites going out to the press over the next few days.
