The iPod now has its very own ‘interactive visualizer’, courtesy of famed game designer Masaya Matsuura.
Matsuura, who is best known for designing console title Parappa The Rapper, has created a program that ‘taps into your song library to create original gameplay’. It works like a kind of ultra-modern game of Snap, where players must tap the iPod’s centre button whenever a character featured in the currently playing song appears on screen, or alternatively hit the skip button if a character from another song appears.
The visualizer, dubbed Musika, is the first iPod game to be released from Sony BMG. It will be available to download via iTunes for £3.99
